We have secured the regular services of a well established car wash service for Brava Residents!  Having demonstrated their capability at places such as Wall Centre, Harbour Centre and The Delta Pinnacle.

 

 

Fall Blinds Cleaning will be offered!  How about cleaning those window blinds?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Owners - Are your cabinet drawer fronts loose or possibly coming apart?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As the colder weather comes in windows will start to be closed for longer periods.  If your blinds have collected a lot of summer dust (humidity helps to bind them as well) you may wish to change the appearance from grey back to a bright white!  We will be going through a list of blinds cleaning companies that come recommended to us and we will find one that we think presents the best service to Brava residents.  There is a lot to consider: onsite vs. offsite; turn around time; how many can be done in a day and certainly not the least item—the price.  We will report back soon.  For now, and to be certain to be at the top of the list, sign up with the Concierge (no obligation) to show your interest in this service.

 

 

You are not alone! Unless you have upgraded your cabinets already, we are working on a solution.  For those frustrated in finding a solution to this systemic problem, we might have one for you.  After countless attempts with Cabinet Companies, Cabinet makers and even Furniture Makers, we have found a company in East Vancouver that has a custom manufacturing plant that will offer a solution for a group order but not single orders.  As he, and countless others have explained, it is not worth the disruption to their normal business unless we can take the painstaking issues out of a solution.  What we agreed to in principal was the following:

 

· Brava would get the “standard” sizes that represent the different kitchen packages (the bath vanities are standard). We are looking for a couple more units to measure up!

· the cabinet company would present a quotation for building new drawer boxes reusing the existing drawer fronts.

· Brava would take signups and once the minimum number for a run of drawers is met (to be determined) they would build the order and when ready, install them in a single day

 

Knowing that replacing the hardware and boxes is hardly a visible step up, I asked the cabinet company to quote on the soft closing and silent drawer hardware that is universal accepted and now part of a standard kitchen cabinet. No more clang when the drawer shuts, great when you don’t want to wake your spouse!
